Awen

Awen was originally commissioned by Theatr Clwyd for their 50th Birthday celebrations in May 2026.
Awen is the Welsh word for the ‘spirit of inspiration’. In this vertical dance performance, four dancers descend the building while conjuring the Awen through spiralling, majestic movements inspired by the Celtic Goddess, Ceridwen - the keeper of Awen. Set to pulsating and energising original music by Eadyth Crawford.
